Charley Mayne

I write the Chainmark Series, a dark dystopian series set in a future America where slavery has been legalized once again under the Chainmark Act. Ryan Murphy, 16, is the first juvenile slave sold under the new law. Taken from New York and sold to Texas rancher Brad Wilkins, the series follows Ryan's journey through a system designed to own every part of him. Wilkins has one goal: break Ryan. Ryan has one goal: survive without losing himself. Alongside the main novels, I also write the Chainmark Files, companion novellas that explore the lives of the people surrounding Ryan's story from different perspectives.
